Shipping, returns & the legal bits
Smooshery is a small independent shop run by one person. These policies are written plainly on purpose — if something here isn’t clear, just email [email protected] and ask.
Shipping
- Orders are packed and posted the next business day from New Caney, TX (ZIP 77357, just outside Houston).
- We ship USPS Ground Advantage with tracking on every order. Transit is typically 3-5 business days within the US — nearer the short end for the south and midwest, nearer the long end for the west coast and the northeast.
- Pre-orders: nothing is currently sold as a pre-order — every pack on the site is in stock and ships next business day. If that ever changes, the product page and the checkout will both say so plainly and give the expected ship date, you will be charged at checkout, and you will be able to cancel for a full refund any time before it ships.
- Shipping is free on all multi-packs. Single sticks are a flat $4.99.
- We currently ship to the United States only.
- You’ll get a tracking number by email as soon as the label is printed.
- Halloween cutoff: order by October 25 for reasonable confidence it arrives before the 31st. We can’t control USPS, so orders after that date are at your own risk.
- Once a parcel is handed to USPS it’s in their hands. If tracking stalls or the parcel is lost, email us and we’ll help chase it and make it right.
Returns & refunds
- Unopened packs: returnable within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. Email us first for the return address. Return postage is on you unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong thing.
- Opened packs: final sale. Once a wrapper is opened the stick can’t be resold, so we can’t take it back.
- Damaged or wrong item: send a photo within 7 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund you in full, including shipping. No return needed.
- You cannot choose your design, and receiving a design you didn’t want is not grounds for a return. Packs are sold as assorted mystery packs and this is stated clearly before purchase. All twelve designs are stocked in equal numbers, and each stick in a pack is drawn on its own, so a duplicate is possible in a larger pack.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Product & safety
- This is a novelty stress squishy intended for ages 14 and over. It is not a children’s toy and is not marketed to children.
- Choking hazard. Contains small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years old. Keep away from small children and pets.
- Not food. Despite the appearance, this is not edible. Do not bite, cut, chew, or ingest. Seek medical advice if any part is swallowed.
- Made of slow-rising polyurethane foam. Keep away from open flame and direct heat.
- Colours and wrapper designs may vary slightly from photographs.
Privacy
- We collect only what’s needed to send you your order: name, shipping address, and email address.
- We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own checkout page. Your card number never touches this website.
- Your email is used for order confirmation and shipping updates. We won’t sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone else.
- We use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising pixel to measure our ads. It sets cookies and reports back to Meta when you view this site, add something to your cart, start checkout, or complete an order, including the order value. Meta may use this to show you our ads elsewhere and to build advertising profiles, under their own privacy policy.
- You can stop it: browser tracking protection, an ad blocker, or Meta's own ad settings all work. Nothing on this site stops working if you block it.
- Want your data deleted? Email us and it’s gone, apart from records we’re required to keep for tax purposes.
Terms
- Prices are in US dollars and may change, but never after you’ve paid.
- The Halloween wrappers are a seasonal run. When they are gone they are gone, and we are not obliged to restock.
- If an item sells out between your order and fulfilment, we’ll refund you in full and tell you straight away.
- We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we believe to be fraudulent.
- By ordering you confirm you are 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian to make the purchase.
- Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
